Danielle Viola is a passionate performing arts educator, director, producer, performer and arts administrator dedicated to creating meaningful theatrical experiences that inspire performers and audiences alike. As Programming Director of Curtain Call Performing Arts Company (CCPAC), Danielle leads the organization's artistic vision, overseeing season planning, educational programming, community productions, and creative teams while ensuring every initiative reflects CCPAC's commitment to artistic excellence, accessibility, and inclusive learning.

Under Danielle's programming leadership, CCPAC has continued to expand its educational and community theatre offerings, creating performance opportunities for hundreds of performers while welcoming thousands of audience members to local productions each season. She is passionate about making high-quality performing arts education accessible to performers of all ages and experience levels, believing that theatre should be a place where everyone feels valued, challenged, and inspired.

A lifelong performer and educator, Danielle has written and produced original children's theatre throughout the Hamilton area and is the creator of One Second, an award-winning musical short film that has received international recognition. In addition to directing established musicals, she enjoys developing original theatrical works that provide meaningful opportunities for emerging performers and new audiences.

Danielle trained extensively in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Musical Theatre, with a competitive dance background and examination certifications in both Tap and Jazz. She also studied voice, piano, and music theory through the Royal Conservatory of Music, further strengthening her foundation as both a performer and educator. Throughout her career, Danielle has produced, directed, choreographed, and performed in numerous musical theatre productions, overseeing every stage of production from artistic planning and rehearsal processes to creative leadership and audience engagement.

She is a graduate of Brock University's Honours Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts, specializing in drama in education, directing, and technical theatre, and also holds a Bachelor of Education. Danielle has completed Additional Qualifications in Instrumental Music, Special Education, English Language Learners, and Librarianship. An active advocate for arts education, she has attended the Conference of Ontario Dance and Drama Educators (CODE) and has presented workshops for fellow educators, sharing innovative approaches to integrating musical theatre into the classroom.

In addition to her work with CCPAC, Danielle teaches with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and works as an Artist Educator and Private Vocal Coach throughout Southern Ontario. She is especially passionate about mentoring emerging performers, helping young artists build confidence, leadership skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

Danielle believes in the transformative power of theatre to strengthen communities, foster creativity, and empower individuals. She is committed to creating welcoming, uplifting spaces where every performer has the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover their potential, and she is proud to welcome each new performer into the Curtain Call family.
