With intensive focus on acting through song, storytelling through movement, and vocal harmonies, this program sharpens technical skills and enhances stage presence.

Industry professionals will mentor and provide feedback throughout the process.

Students may also apply to be mentored in behind-the-scenes roles such as Stage Management, Lighting, Costume Design, or Assistant Directing.

  • Yes, some prior experience is required. Advanced Musical Theatre is an audition-based program designed for students ages 13–19 who have previous performance experience and are ready for a more challenging and fast-paced rehearsal process. Students should have a strong foundation in singing, acting, and/or dancing, and be comfortable working independently and as part of an ensemble. We recommend this program for performers who have participated in Intermediate Musical Theatre or similar training and are looking to take the next step in their development.

  • Mandatory dates are essential to the success of the production and the safety and confidence of all performers. Each cast member plays a crucial role, and missing key rehearsals or performances affects not only their own preparation but also the entire ensemble. Tech week is when we finalize staging, lighting, cues, and transitions—these cannot be learned or adjusted last minute. Absences during mandatory dates create disruptions and place extra pressure on the rest of the team. For this reason, we require full commitment to mandatory dates in order to participate in the program.

    • 100% refund will be given prior to the first day of classes | a $75 Admin Fee will be charged

    • 50% refund will be given after the first class

    • There are no refunds following the first class / or casting decisions. Which ever comes first.

  • Students will have the option to purchase a show shirt if they wish. The only additional costs that may arise are for required footwear and undergarments specific to the production. If CCPAC retains these items after the show, reimbursement arrangements can be made.
