FAQs

No prior experience is required to join the first session of Musical Theatre Ensemble. It's a great starting point for students ages 10–18 to build confidence, learn ensemble singing, choreography, and develop basic performance skills in a supportive group setting.
For the second session, some previous experience—such as participation in the first session or a similar program—is recommended but not mandatory. This session moves at a slightly faster pace and includes solo work, advanced dance, harmony singing, acting workshops, and audition preparation. It’s ideal for students who are ready to challenge themselves and work toward our Intermediate or Advanced programs.

Mandatory dates are essential to the success of the production and the safety and confidence of all performers. Each cast member plays a crucial role, and missing key rehearsals or performances affects not only their own preparation but also the entire ensemble. Tech week is when we finalize staging, lighting, cues, and transitions—these cannot be learned or adjusted last minute. Absences during mandatory dates create disruptions and place extra pressure on the rest of the team. For this reason, we require full commitment to mandatory dates in order to participate in the program.
