This agreement defines the terms and conditions for registering with Curtain Call Performing Arts Company INC (“CCPAC”), located in Hamilton, Ontario. By registering for any CCPAC program—including but not limited to camps, classes, productions, and workshops—you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. This agreement ensures a clear, safe, and mutually respectful relationship between you and CCPAC.

1. General Information

  1. Curtain Call Performing Arts Company INC is a not for profit performing arts company offering camps, classes, training programs, and theatrical productions for youth and adults.

  2. Our programming may include seasonal camps, weekly training sessions, intensives, and live performances throughout the year.

  3. Unless otherwise specified, regular program hours vary by offering.

  4. Our rehearsal and performances spaces vary by program, please check your enrolled program details specifically.

  6. CCPAC reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.

2. Fees & Payments

  1. Fees vary by program and are detailed in each program description.

  2. All payments must be made in full at the time of registration, unless otherwise arranged through written agreement.

  3. Fees are processed online via secure third-party platforms and are subject to a credit card processing fee which is included in the listed price.

  4. Refund and withdrawal policies:

    100% refund will be given prior to the first day of classes | $75 Admin Fee will be charged 
    50% refund will be given after the first class
    There are no refunds following the first rehearsal / class / casting

  5. Registration fees may apply to each individual session or production.

3. Holidays & Closures, and Attendance Policy

  1. CCPAC observes closures on:

    • Statutory holidays as required

  2. We reserve the right to close the studio due to emergencies, force majeure or weather events, or public health directives.

4. Attendance Policy

Attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of all Curtain Call Performing Arts Company INC programs, including classes, camps, rehearsals, and performances. By registering for a CCPAC program, you agree to the following:

  1. Regular Attendance
    Participants are expected to attend all scheduled classes, rehearsals, and performances unless prior arrangements have been made or an emergency occurs.

  2. Mandatory Dates
    Some dates—such as tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performance days—are designated as mandatory. Absence from these dates will result in removal from parts of the production or the program without refund.

  3. Lateness and Early Departures
    Arriving late or leaving early disrupts the learning environment and affects group progress. Repeated lateness or early departures may impact casting, showcase participation, or continued enrolment.

  4. Absences
    If a participant will be absent, families must notify CCPAC as soon as possible. Extended absences may limit participation in final performances or showcases.

  5. Illness and Emergencies
    We ask that participants stay home if they are unwell. In cases of illness, medical or family emergency, accommodations may be made at the discretion of CCPAC.

5. Use of Personal Information

  1. Your personal data is collected for communication, safety, and administrative purposes only.

  2. Data is never shared or sold to third parties.

  3. Credit card details are securely processed and are not visible to staff. Only authorized financial systems can access them.

6. Expectations & Code of Conduct

All students, families, and contractors are expected to uphold CCPAC’s values of respect, inclusion, and professionalism.

Participants must:

  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for their program. (You may not wear in flip flops, slides or crocs)

  • Bring lunch/snacks and water bottles to full-day programs.

  • Show respect for peers, instructors, space, and materials.

  • Abide by all safety and community standards outlined.

  • We have a zero tolerance policy to any forms of bullying.

Failure to comply with behavioural expectations may result in removal from a program without refund.

7. Security & Studio Safety

CCPAC takes safety seriously. To protect all participants:

  1. Contracted Individuals and/or Volunteers will check out and check in students prior to and following classes.

  2. All contracted individuals and volunteers that are 18 and older have vulnerable sector checks.

  3. Audio and video may be recorded on-site in accordance with Canadian consent laws (Section 184, Criminal Code of Canada).

  4. Inappropriate behaviour will be investigated, and recordings will only be reviewed when necessary.

8. Communication Policy

To maintain professional boundaries:

  1. No personal communication is allowed between contracted workers and students/parents via personal phone numbers, email addresses, or social media accounts.

  2. All communication must go through official CCPAC channels:

Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action or expulsion.

9. Health & Wellness

Participants are expected to stay home if unwell. This includes:

  • Fever, cough, sore throat, gastrointestinal issues, or other symptoms of illness.

  • Recent exposure to contagious illness, including COVID-19.

  • CCPAC reserves the right to send a participant home if symptoms are observed during programming.

COVID-19 protocols may be updated in accordance with government and public health guidelines. Please review the most up-to-date information prior to your program start.

10. Liability & Medical Release

Participation in performing arts carries inherent risks. By registering, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You assume full responsibility for any injuries, illnesses, or damages sustained while attending CCPAC activities.

  • CCPAC and its representatives are not liable for injuries, property loss, or medical expenses incurred during participation.

  • In case of emergency, you authorize CCPAC staff to seek medical attention and, if needed, transport your child to a physician, urgent care, or hospital.

  • You assume any associated costs (e.g., ambulance transport).

11. Assumption of Risk: COVID-19 and Contagious Illness

CCPAC follows all public health recommendations and implements precautions including air purification, cleaning protocols, and masking support. However, by participating:

  • You understand and accept that exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses is still a risk.

  • You release CCPAC, its contractors, and volunteers from liability in the event of illness or transmission occurring during participation.

12. Consent & Acceptance

By registering for a program, submitting payment, or attending a class, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood this agreement.

  • You agree to comply with all policies and procedures set by CCPAC.

  • You consent to the secure communication methods as outlined above

5. Photo & Media Consent

Photos and videos may be taken during CCPAC events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your or your child’s image to be used, please check the correct box on your registration form. You may change this consent at any time in writing to the CCPAC email.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the CCPAC email.

7. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
