A Musical Theatre Fundraiser.... Come and support a local theatre company by attending our concert; all of the proceeds from this concert will go towards CCPAC's fundraising initiative. CCPAC has had to find a new theatre space for most of their performances this season; this year we are fundraising with the goal of opening CCPAC's very own Studio Theatre on the Hamilton Mountain. We need help from the entire community to reach our fundraising goal and what a better way to support than attending a performance and seeing some of the professionals, teens, young adults and youth that your donations will directly help. Not only will this Studio Theatre be a home for Curtain Call it will be a theatre space open for everyone to perform in, an arts hub on the mountain. CCPAC is also happy to announce that they are now working towards becoming a Not for Profit Community Arts Organization. Make sure you get your tickets to hear the official announcement and find out how you can get involved in the local arts |

With the houselights down, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight. |
